Ninja Saga added two ninja that you could hire to aid you in combat who have been dubbed Mabuki and Masaki. While there is not a lot of testing on the damage of these Ninjas, the above battle shows you what they can do if you are smart.
These two Ninja being fairly new, have not been used in many fights as most players opt to fight alongside an AI controlled version of their friends. However, this fight shows you that both Mabuki, and Masaki are capable of being rather useful in combat. While their damage is low (hitting for 1.4k while a crit from Madara was striking for 3.8k) they have quite a bit of utility and they are not taken down easily.
20 seconds into the video we are able to see that both Mabuki and Masaki are capable of augmenting the player's combat capabilities through Wind and Lightning ninjutsu. While it is not clear as to why these two ninja contain many support abilities, maybe it is a sign that the players are in a power climb and that adding abilities to the NPC's that would be on par with the player abilities would cause many balance issues in PvE.
